FAQs
Who is Hudson Society for?
Hudson Society is for ambitious post-grads in NYC in finance, tech, and business who want to make real, lifelong friendships instead of going to stiff, formal networking events.
What makes Hudson Society different from other social clubs in NYC?
Attendee-first approach: We won’t say any names, but too many social clubs price out attendees with high-cost events that don’t deliver real value. Hudson Society aims for thoughtfully crafted experiences that feel worth the price, avoiding low-budget setups or prioritizing margins over experience.
A lot of NYC clubs are organized around gender, race, or a narrow creative niche, leaving ambitious professionals in finance, tech, and business with limited spaces to genuinely connect. Hudson Society is designed to fill in this gap without any "girls-only” or “for the bros” gimmicks.
How do events work and how much do they cost?
We host small, curated gatherings designed to feel authentic. From dinners to group workouts to nights out, we cater to everyone’s taste. In a city of money-hungry “community” builders overcharging for events, we value helping good people meet over everything else, so our experiences are priced fairly (big thank you to our sponsors for helping keep costs for attendees so low!).
How do I join?
You can apply to join us here. Don’t worry, we respond to all applications within 24 hours.
Why do I have to apply?
We are committed to maintaining a high quality vibe with a group of people who will all enjoy each other’s company, so every attendee is personally vetted by a real person (no AI!).
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, you can bring friends! However, we keep events intimate, so +1s also need to be approved.
